Our 2023 Motorcycle Run was a big success!

The family of Christopher Hulbert Memorial would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the participants, donors and sponsors for a successful motorcycle run from the Sons of the American Legion Post 474 in Zelienople, Pa, to Mission Barbecue in Boardman, Ohio on Saturday, August 19, 2023.

The plan was to ride to Mission Barbecue and hang a picture of USAF Captain Christopher Hulbert on the restaurant's Gold Star Wall.

We couldn't have asked or been more blessed with a beautiful day for a ride. It was a very moving experience to see all the motorcycles out ahead of us with their American Flags flying in the wind from the rear of the bikes.

This event would not have been successful without the assistance and participation of the Legion Riders. We met some absolute, fantastic men and woman who support their community, love their country and take time out of their busy schedule to honor our fallen heroes. We look forward to working along side them on future events and rides.

Mission Barbecue prepared a delicious, hearty lunch with plenty of barbecued pork sandwiches, wings and ribs. If you are ever in Boardman, Ohio and looking for a place to eat, stop at the Mission Barbecue. I highly recommend!

Please check out the companies that continue to support our events year after year. We appreciate your support of our mission and vision. We are all responsible for supporting the many men and woman who have served their country, returned home from battle and are continuing to fight their own silent battle. Our proceeds benefit Stop Soldier Suicide and the many programs they have designed to support, recover and transition these military men and woman suffering from Battlefield and Deployment Trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, PTSD and Suicide Ideation.
